Information for Project Success
Tips Authors
If you have been invited to write articles for Project Success Tips as an expert, please provide
a bio and digital photo which will be presented on the Meet the Experts page. The bio may contain one or
more links to your websites.
We are also looking for submittals by experienced project managers who
want to share first-person project stories and the insights - your project success tips - gained from managing real
world projects.
We're always looking for fresh
ideas, how-to
advice, pertinent
stories, and usable
take-aways. Article submissions can be 300-1200 words in length, with
400-600 being the most common size. Shorter articles are more likely to be read and will generally be focused
around one central idea.
The primary publication method is via email in HTML format, and we want the
articles to be easy to read... so keep the tone more conversational, while still professional, and keep the
paragraphs short. The publisher reserves the right to edit for readability
and suitability of style.
The final paragraph of each article can be about you the author, with a short
description of what you do – similar to the resource box in an ezine article, and may include one link to a
webite.
We do not pay for articles. Sorry. The compensation to contributors is expected to
be the publicity of a published article and the "advertising" of your link. Note that the publisher will also
consider offering or advertising the expert's or expert's company products to our subscribers, if deemed
appropriate and endorsable by the publisher as high-quality, project management related products or
services.
Marketing of the newsletter will use a wide variety of search engine optimization,
advertising, and other promotional methods, and we expect to develop a steadily growing and quality subscriber list
based on increasing demand for good project management guidance needed by project managers everywhere in the world
of business.
Ideally, we seek authors willing to submit articles on an established schedule,
every 3-8 weeks, but the publisher is willing to discuss frequency and schedule with each contributor.
After email publication, newsletter issues will also be published on this site
with past issues and articles archived and searchable - cross-referenced by author, title, date of publication, and
topical category.
If you would like to submit articles as either an established project management
expert or as an experienced project manager, please contact the publisher at ray@projectsuccesstips.com. It would be helpful if
you could submit a short bio and an article at the same time, along with a phone number.
Thank you
